This month and every month, we’re honouring and celebrating Black achievements, contributions, and culture while acknowledging the history that got us here, as a country and as collective earth. From cultural exhibits to lively performances, the city is hosting a variety of events that pay tribute to the rich and diverse contributions of the African American community.

All year round we can support Black-owned businesses that bring to much to our communities. While February is set aside a dedicated time to globally recognize, we must strive to always incorporate and acknowledge the fact that Black culture and history has influenced every aspect of our current society and culture here in New York.

Check out these businesses all around the city for a mixture of fashion, home goods, services, and interior design.
