Every year, we are blessed with a series of events in Alberta that bring us our favourite hoppy, crisp and delicious beverage – Beer. Alberta Beer Festivals brings us the best of them, and the next one in the roster is one that will truly have something for everyone! Whether you prefer a crisp beer or are more inspired by flavourful cocktails and unique spirits, The Jasper Beer and Spirits Week is the place to be from February 7th-13th! This unique festival is combining the food and beverage aspects with adventure, to take advantage of the beautiful locale with endless outdoor activity possibilities!
Throughout the week, there will be activations all over Jasper! From delectable dinners with beer pairings to scotch tastings, cocktail making and painting classes to beer specials on the slopes at Marmot, there will be something to do and experience each day of the week.
The festival itself will be taking place at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, and since they have partnered with The APRES Collective, there will be even more activities so you can enjoy the outdoors, as well as the unique selection of food and beverage offerings.
Truthfully, the event will be part festival and part wilderness adventure. Pack your skates and snowshoes because there will be opportunities for pond hockey and snowy trail walks between beer tastings and cocktail classes! Get active with yoga, ski some runs before lunch and experience cooking demos.
In the evenings, we will gather to celebrate at The Grand Tasting – featuring food from the Jasper Park Lodge award-winning chefs and Canada’s best beer, spirits and cider!
There will be two nights of the on-site festivities, so make sure you’re ready for a weekend jampacked with beer, sprits and winer adventures – a combination we never knew we needed.
The team at ABF is committed to providing a safe environment for all attendees, staff and volunteers so will be following all COVID policies, including the Restriction Exemption Plan and mask mandate for indoor activities – to read more, click here!
