What is better than lounging in the sun chowing down on your fave food truck meal? Umm nothing. We’re so excited that food truck season is back and we’re celebrating this weekend at YYC Food Truck Spring Frenzy. We’re taking the party (and food) to East Village April 21 + 22 for all the food truck goodness that we’ve been missing over these cold (and long) months.

Bring your squad and spend the day in East Village enjoying the 15+ food trucks and live music. Take a gander through the marketplace, checking out what our local vendors have for Spring (hint: Mother’s Day is just around the corner). Did we mention puppies are welcome? Here are some of the food you don’t want to miss this week:

Mac & Cheese Poutine from Ms. Mac N Cheese. Yes, you read that right. Our mouths are already watering, we can’t wait to dig our forks into the fries topped with classic Mac n Cheese, mozzarella, gravy topped with green onions. It’s poutine like no other.

Truffle Burger from Wilks Booth. Did you say truffle? We’re in. The homemade patty is topped with cheese, mushrooms, lettuce and red onions. Oh, and you can’t forget the Home Made Truffle Aioli.

The classic Nashville style fried chicken from Zilford’s Fried Chicken. They brine their chicken for 12 hours to ensure the perfectly juicy meat covered in a crunchy crust. Can you keep up with the heat?

Original Sunshine lemonade from Family Squeezed. Made from the freshest of lemons, there is no doubt that your thirst will be quenched.
