Food and memories go hand in hand. All events, celebrations, milestones and memories usually involve some sort of culinary experience. We’re not mad about it, who doesn’t want to celebrate with their friends and family while eating and drinking delicious fare?
When you think of your favourite restaurants in Calgary, most likely one of the Teatro Group restaurants is on that list. From Teatro to Royale to Alforno, we can’t get enough of the culinary experiences that have become a standard for Calgary. They are celebrating their 25th anniversary of distinguished dining this year so it’s no wonder how they have become a pillar in the food culture in this city. Since 1993, when Teatro Ristorante opened, Teatro Group has been making a name for themselves in the restaurant industry in Calgary. Hospitality is Teatro’s “raison d’être” and mission and we always feel right at home whenever we are dining in or sipping on a latte at one of their restaurants. Dario Berloni, Founder, Owner, and Proprietor of Teatro has built a solid foundation of beautiful spaces, amazing food, and restaurants for people to curate life memories and milestones. Whether it’s a birthday celebration, an anniversary, a proposal or a family reunion, the Teatro Group has been there.
From now until November, Teatro will be hosting a series of events dedicated to celebrating the local foodie culture, its alumni chefs and the gracious hospitality that Teatro has been so focused on for the past 25 years. The events include East Side Dario’s at Teatro’s Opera Room – A cheeky and fun play on American Italian food served family style on September 28; Alumni Dinner at Teatro on October 4 with current and alumni chefs including Michael Allemeier, John Michael McNeil, Jason Barton Brown; and Batey’s Boozy Brunch at Teatro on November 18.
In honour of their 25th anniversary, the Teatro Group is giving away a $2500 gift certificate. Think about the dinner party you could throw for $2500? Or maybe you could use it to solidify a consistent date night with your partner; good food and it’s free? There is no excuse not to go out for dinner.
