Pizza lovers rejoice! Score Pizza is now available in Halifax (1646 Barrington St.), offering a unique fast and fresh menu of signature and build-your-own stone-fired pizzas, sandwiches, salads and more.
The restaurant opened in Halifax in August 2022, following the success of their locations across Ontario.

When Score Pizza first opened in Halifax, they introduced fast-casual, stone-fired pizza to the city with a delicious menu of six signature pizzas, along with an extensive toppings bar to custom-build your own creation.
The restaurant concept was first created in Kingston, Ontario by Founder and Director Joel Braunstein, and was meant to elevate the experience of a build-your-own pizzeria by offering high-quality ingredients, health and allergy-sensitive options, and draught beer and wine. Their dough is made in-house daily along with their stone-fired roasted vegetables. Fresh veggies are also sourced locally (whenever possible) and are chopped by hand.
When you first walk through the doors of Score Pizza, you immediately get that “warm Canadian feel” of a cozy, yet current, casual dining experience. Starting at one end of the restaurant, you place your order and follow an assembly line format which lets you see your pizza, salad, or sandwich being built.
We started off our date night by building our own salad with fresh ingredients like field greens, spinach, grilled chicken, and goat cheese. We then decided to order two of their Signature Pizzas – the Great White North and the Hot & Spicy.
The Great White North has a creamy garlic sauce base and is topped with asiago, mozzarella, Italian sausage, mushrooms, caramelized onions, crushed garlic, and arugula.
The Hot & Spicy, as the name suggests, has a bit of a kick! It has a saucy, spicy red sauce and is topped with a variety of meats from Italian sausage to bacon to Chorizo, and is finished off with a sweet drizzle of honey.
