The Vendome Block
Walking up to Vendome, you’ll notice the historic building that brings a different vibe than the typical downtown date spot.
The Vendome Block was originally built as a mixed-use building in 1912, and after many tenants, uses, a couple of fires, and lots of repair from the Teatro Group, it’s what Calgary knows and loves today.
Vendome strived to honour tradition by supporting the community through the use of local farmers and artisans in their cafe and restaurant. The menu is heavily influenced by the diverse community that surrounds the establishment, creating binge-worthy meals from brunch, to pasta, salads, handhelds, and more!
New Menu
Vendome recently launched their new menu and it is seriously making a splash! Some examples of their tasty new items include: duck wings with a sour cherry glaze, steak frites which is a 10oz AAA Striploin, seasoned fries, chimichurri, and the seafood & preserved lemon linguine with calabrian chili, mussels, squid & shrimp. Their breakfast/brunch menu is packed with Vendome favourites like eggs benny and avocado toast.
They also offer daily features so everyday you get to experience something special!
Monday – All day happy hour
Tuesday – Smoked brisket with rotating sides
Wednesday – Date night 3 course ‘family style’ meal for two & a bottle of wine
Thursday – Feature pasta night (changes weekly)
Friday – Boozy float Friday
Saturday – $3 Strawberry rhubarb sundaes
Sunday – Free corkage
Events
Coming up on June 3rd, 2023 from 4:00pm-10:00pm, Vendome is having an event in partnership with Last Best!
Tickets are $35/person – this gets you a burger (or veggie burger) & fries plus two full drinks (which includes beer, a spirited drink using Fortunella product, or a glass of Rosé). Other food and beverages will be for sale during the event as well.
You can also participate in a beer pong tournament on the patio for $20/team that will run between between 5:30pm – 8:00pm

Gift Vendome
A foodie experience is the perfect way to celebrate special occasions, relationship milestones, those extra special date nights, or just about anything else! Make their day by either sending a gift card to their inbox or mailbox (if you’re an old-school romantic).
Vendome is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
They take reservations Monday to Friday all day, as well as Saturday to Sunday evening.
Saturday to Sunday breakfast/brunch is walk in only.
