Eat:

L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michelle Hollywood

L’antica Pizzeria da Michele originated in Naples, Italy in 1870. This classic Italian pizzeria is known for their authentic Neapolitan style margherita & marinara pizza. Using the same recipes and importing the same ingredients used at its origin restaurant, you can taste the love in each and every dish. If you’re a pizza and pasta lover, we’d recommend splitting one of each. You can thank us later.

Bloom & Plume

Designed to uplift the senses and unite the neighbourhood, Bloom & Plume is much more than just a coffee shop; this community-oriented experience offers an environment that welcomes one and all. With hearty toasts, waffles, coffee, donuts, and beautifully crafted drinks, this colourful gem is the perfect morning coffee run destination!

The V Tree Hollywood

The V Tree is a soul food vegan restaurant with classic southern recipes made plant-based. With options like Cajun Shrimp, BBQ Ribs, and Country Fried Chic’n, your taste buds won’t know what hit them. The visionary behind the restaurant is one of the most sought-after celebrity chefs in the business, Miss Chef Velvet!

Cha Cha Cha

We love a good rooftop patio and the one at Cha Cha Cha’s is top notch. Located in the trendy Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles, this Mexican inspired restaurant is the perfect place to grab a tequila cocktail, some good food, and start your night all while enjoying the gorgeous views of the Downtown Skyline.

De Buena Planta

This plant-based Mexican eatery is the newest concept from the founder of The Butcher’s Daughter. Offering delicious vegan eats, fine Mezcals, and organic margaritas, this restaurant serves up bohemian beach vibes perfect for #datenight.

Self Guided Taco Crawl – Guisados, Tacos 1986, Sonoratown

If you’re a lover of tacos, plan a self guided taco crawl! Using the city’s metro bikes or one of the rideshare two wheel options, eat your way through Downtown LA. Start at Guisados, move on to Tacos 1986, and finish at Sonoratown! Make pit stops along the way at The Last Book Store, The Broad, and consider taking the Angels Flight at California Plaza to experience the “shortest railway in the world.”

Do:

Bike Venice to Santa Monica

Rent bikes and ride from Venice to Santa Monica, taking in the scenery along the way. From the vast shoreline, to the colourful buildings, lively pier, and lifeguard towers, there are so many photo spots to stop at and take in the views. Some notable stops are: the Venice Sign, the Rainbow Pride Flag Lifeguard Tower, the Santa Monica Pier, and the Waterfront Cafe for a quick beach bite.

For LA bike rentals(road bikes, electric bikes, mountain bikes, city bikes, and more!) please contact Bikes and Hikes LA.

Sunrise Yoga on the Beach

After a red eye flight or a late night date night, there’s nothing more relaxing than doing sunrise yoga on the beach. Listening to the crashing waves and feeling the cool breeze on your skin will surely make you feel at ease and bring you into the present moment.

Hike

There are so many amazing trails and hiking paths to explore in Los Angeles. Our favourite is the hike to the Hollywood Sign, which offers unparalleled views of the city. Bikes and Hikes LA offers a fantastic 3 hour morning guided hike that is always a ton of fun. Along the way, your guide will point out different landmarks including the Griffith Observatory, the different entertainment studios, and of course, the best spots to take pictures of in front of the famed sign.

Stay:

Venice V Hotel

This beachfront hotel in Venice is located right on the world-famous Venice Boardwalk and offers spectacular views of the ocean, beach, and skate park. The V hotel is wrapped in a timeless 1915 landmark building that has been updated and reimagined. It is also the former home to long-term Hollywood residents including Charlie Chaplin, Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle, and Wallace Berry. The beautifully designed rooms and suites offer retro, bohemian and creative details that are sure to inspire. Whether you opt to take surfing or skateboarding lessons, do morning yoga on the beach, or dine at one of the eclectic eateries in the neighbourhood, at the Venice V Hotel, you’ll stay and play like a local.

Thompson Hollywood

New and luxurious, Thompson Hollywood is located in the heart of Hollywood. The property design offers an elegant and contemporary sophistication, with a dash of Old Hollywood glamour. With rooms overlooking the Hollywood sign and a rooftop pool and restaurant, you won’t need to venture far to have the perfect date night.

Silver Lake Pool & Inn

With an elevated pool deck perfect for soaking in the sun, a coastal Italian inspired outdoor restaurant and bar, and guest room windows that allow for a healthy dose of Southern California sunlight, Silver Lake Pool & Inn is a sunshine lover’s paradise. Designed with a distinctly Californian feel, this oasis is filled with vintage leather furnishings, wood accents, and lush greenery.
