Dog Friendly Patios In Vancouver You Can Take Your Date

A photo of a dog on a chair on a patio with a girl drinking a red cocktail. Dog Friendly Patios in Vancouver and the surrounding areas.

So the only thing better than meeting someone new and hanging out on a patio is when there are dogs involved. With that in mind, why not make your first date a little fluffier by including some four legged friends and check out these dog friendly patios around the Lower Mainland.

Camp Beer Co. is an amazing spot located in Langley where the furry four legged friends will be thriving on their huge outdoor patio. The beers are phenomenal and they even have live music during the week. You definitely feel like you are in the great outdoors when you pop by here.

Saba Cafe and Bistro has a great courtyard for you and your furry friends to hangout on. Tucked away in Fort Langley, enjoy coffee & pastries, unreal brunch, or a fantastic lunch and dinner menu while scoping out the puppies around you. Our favourite here has to be the eggs benny but truly everything here is delicious.

Yellow Dog Brewing is probably one of the best because they literally have dog in their name. So very on brand for the topic of patio dates and dogs. Their outdoor space in the back of the brewery is a little oasis deck out with picnic tables and trees. The pups are sure to have a great time here.

Red Truck Beer Company is a super cool place to come to on a hot sunny day. Their lower patio is decked out for the dogs with water bowls and umbrellas for shade so everyone can be comfortable. The food here is great and the beer is even better.Come close to sunset and watch the sky light up with the pups.

With two amazing locations in the city, the pups have lots of options for spots at Local Public Eatery. First up the Kitsilano has the pooch parking right next to patio where all the dogs become friends. Gastown the pups get to sit around the little railing closing in the patio. They will for sure be the star of the show here.

Dogs like Tacos as much a humans do so what better place to go than La Taqueria.  A nice patio for you and the doggo friends. Enjoy happy hour and your dates company while pretending you are on a beach somewhere like mexico.

Mahony’s might be our favourite patio to sit on with the dogs as it is actually the only patio in Vancouver that is truly over top of the water. It has a dedicated section for furry friends in the shade and lots of water to go around.

The Wicklow is a great spots with even better views. You your date and your pups will enjoy amazing views of the sunset in Stamps Landing with sipping on great cocktails and local beers. This is a great spot to either take and walk before or after your patio session to work off your feast.

Craft Beer Market has a huge patio at their Olympic Village location where the dogs have lots of spots to choose from. With over 100 beers on tap, you will also have lots of options for your taste buds. We also 100% recommend the nachos be cause they are huge and unreal!

Parlour has to be one of our favourite spots in Yaletown to sit and dog watch. So many daggos will pass you by on their daily sniffing walks. Hangout with your own furry friend with bomb pizza or pet every dog that passes by. That’s truly what we do.

There are so many other dog friendly patios you can take your date and four legged friend to, but we will have have to wait and do a part two. If you know of an amazing place to bring dogs on dates, hit us up on our Instagram @datenightbc so we can check them out and add to our list. No furry friend left behind.
