YEG Ice Climbing Wall

January 15 – February 25 at Ice District Fan Park (10104 104 Ave NW)

Now that the temperatures have finally dropped below freezing in the city, anticipated construction of the ice way is underway! Promoting the sport of ice climbing to the Edmonton Area, The ACC Ice Wall offers introductions to ice climbing that are available to all and require no prior experience.

Officially back for the 2023/24 season at an all new location, for the first time ever in North America, The ACC Ice wall will be hosting the UIAA Ice Climbing World Championships & YEG Ice Fest! The competition takes place February 16-18, 2024. Tickets to the event are TBA.
