In an interview with Collins, we learned six useful tips on how to use the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler:
Hot & cold shots help
A mixture of hot and cold shots with the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler can help achieve a long-lasting look. “Leave on hot for at least 5-10 seconds (on a section) and then do cool shot for at least 5 seconds before you release the section,” Collins said.
Moisture is key
According to Collins, before using the curling attachments on the Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler, you’ll want to make sure there is 10% moisture left in the hair.
How to hold the hair
Another tip from Collins, when using the curling attachments, is to “make sure you are holding the hair closer to the mid-shaft, so there is hair free for the Airwrap to do its thing.”
Overcurled? No problem
“If your hair is too curly at the end, use the brush attachment on hot and slowly brush through the hair to stretch out the curl,” Collins said.
Achieving volume
“When using the brush attachments, brush the hair in all directions for added volume,” Collins added.
Fly aways be-gone
For the final touch, use the flyaway attachment on a cool setting to ensure those pesky flyaways stay away!
