Three Tarts Bakeshop will have many wonderful and festive Easter desserts available this weekend (first-come, first-serve only). Their baked goods are made with the highest quality ingredients, careful thought, and endless joy for the most delightful treats! 

We’re in love with these decorated shortbread cookies!

Easter Hours: Wednesday – Sunday, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

ThimbleCakes strives to cater to those who get left out. They’re completely nut, sesame, egg, honey, and gelatine free. They also offer gluten-free options, vegan options, soy-free options, sunflower-free options (and more!), without compromising on the soft, creamy richness of a great cake. Curds, batters, pastries and even ice creams are made in house using ingredients which are organic and Canadian whenever possible. 

Their spring cupcake collection includes so many Easter treats including these Easter Nest Cupcakes. So cute!

Bread & Roses Bakery offers high quality baked goods made with love. They’ve created tons of delightful Easter treats this year from decorated cookies to chocolate truffles, but our top picks have to be these Easter Nest Cannolis and Cake Pops!

Ichiban Bakery is a family-owned and operated business that has served fresh bread and pastries in Ottawa for over 16 years. They specialize in creating the CUTEST Japanese desserts including these adorable shortcakes. These would make the perfect gift for any family get-together!

5. Cream Egg Donuts from Little Jo Berry's

Little Jo Berry’s offers a daily, rotating selection of fresh and unique vegan treats from shortbread cookies to flakies to scones, and everything in between! They have a fully seasonal Easter treat menu this weekend which includes these delicious Gluten-free Cream Egg Donuts. Yum!

Mantovani 1946 is an authentic Italian Gelato café offering award winning gelato, pastries and Neapolitan Espresso. They import raw ingredients directly from Italy to their store location in the Byward Market so you know it’s the real deal. This Easter, they have the most delicious Lemon Blueberry Swiss Roll on special that’s sure to wow your guests!

Tinlont Chocolates, also known as “Tl Chocolates” is a local, small batch artisan chocolate business that offers the most beautiful treats! 

Their Sunny Side Up Easter Egg is filled with two flavours of Dragées and six half egg bonbons. The base bar is filled with raspberry caramel and roasted pistachio crumble. To top it all off, the “egg yolk” on top is filled with a tangy passion fruit caramel. This is definitely an easter egg that will impress your date!
