You can catch live music at the Coca-Cola Stage, where local and international artists perform daily, stroll through the Stampede Market for some unique shopping and tasty food samples, agricultural exhibits, where you can get up close with farm animals and watch live demonstrations.
And best of all, don’t forget the fireworks to end your day, lighting up the sky over Stampede Park. Whether you’re into music, food, or just soaking up the vibrant atmosphere, there’s plenty to do for free!

Free Stampede Parade and Free Park Admission
One of Calgary’s favourite traditions is the Calgary Stampede Parade. Thousands of spectators line the streets of downtown Calgary to watch colourful floats, marching bands, performers, First Nations participants, and horseback riders officially kick off Stampede season.
The best part? Parade Day also comes with free admission to Stampede Park until 1:30 p.m. Simply head to the grounds after the parade and enjoy even more Stampede fun without paying admission.

Free Stampede Value Days
The Calgary Stampede offers several Value Days throughout the festival that can help you save money while enjoying all the action.
Look out for:
- Parade Day free admission until 1:30 p.m.
- Community Day free admission and free pancake breakfast opportunities.
- Family Day with free admission for kids 12 and under until 11:00 a.m.
- BMO Kids Day with free admission for kids and accompanying adults during select morning hours.
