One of Calgary’s favourite traditions is the Calgary Stampede Parade. On July 3 this year, thousands of spectators will line the streets of downtown Calgary to watch colourful floats, marching bands, performers, the Calgary Stampede and First Nations Royalty, and horseback riders officially kick off Stampede season.

It all kicks off at 9am, led by Team Canada Olympians Courtney Sarault and Mikaël Kingsbury as the 2026 Calgary Stampede Parade Marshals!

The best part? Parade Day also comes with free admission to Stampede Park until 1:30 p.m. Simply head to the grounds after the parade and enjoy even more Stampede fun without paying admission.
