Whether you’re a camping vet or trying to impress a date who’s a little more outdoorsy than you, this luxurious and comfy camping experience at Sundance by Basecamp is perfect for you!
Bookings are now open for these cabins and glamping tents and the season is expected to run from May 19th to the end of September, weather permitting.
Located in the heart of Kananaskis Country, set amongst the majestic Canadian Rockies with scenic mountain views and close proximity to multiple glacial lakes, Sundance By Basecamp offers a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, mountain biking, climbing and endless adventures.
It’s also perfect for easy day trips to Calgary, Banff and Canmore to make a full weekend date out of it!
If you’ve been before, you can expect to soak up the stunning scenery and continue to enjoy what has made the area so special, along with a few upgrades that will be rolling out over the summer.
Accommodations
There are a couple of cool options at Sundance for you and your date to stay in, including the canvas Sioux Tipis and the Trapper’s Tents.
Each camp site includes a fire pit and picnic table. There are also eight unserviced sites available for people to rent and camp with their own tents or medium-sized RVs and trailers.
Amenities
The campsite provides amenities for all guests including hot showers, washrooms, a volleyball and badminton area and a horseshoe pit. You can event rent supplies such as bedding, towels, cooking utensils, camp stoves and sporting equipment.
The on-site Trading Post is stocked with basic groceries, ice, firewood, propane alongside a range of locally sourced gifts, kids activity sets, apparel and novelties to browse while you’re there, support local, and make sure you have everything you need for the best getaway ever.
