This authentic Brazilian restaurant that features tapioca crepes and açai bowls, is completely gluten-free and absolutely delicious! You’ll feel good about this flavourful spot and so will your date.

3. Piano Piano

This delicious Italian spot has really tasty gluten-free pasta! Piano Piano is known for its adorable vibes and even with an allergy, you can still enjoy in the fun! When you go, be sure ask your server for their gluten-free options. Be sure to clarify that the sauce isn’t thickened with flour.

4. El Pocho Antojitos Bar

Luckily, delicious Mexican food tends to be gluten-free naturally because many things are made with corn instead of wheat. At El Pocho, everything happens to be gluten-free, making it the perfect spot to kick back with some tacos and margaritas and relax!

Insomnia is a great bar and restaurant that is super gluten-friendly! They have a variety of gluten-free options marked on their menu such as nachos, mussels, poutine, pastas, steak and so much more.

All you pizza lovers, don’t worry! Pizzeria Libretto can make any of their pizzas gluten-free with a crust substitution. When you see and taste them, you’ll be shocked because they look and taste the EXACT SAME! It’s a pizza miracle.

This super chic plant-based restaurant has many gluten-free options to enjoy. You can get gluten-free pizza, sushi rolls, salads, and handhelds. This is a great spot for a friend group that has different dietary restrictions.

8. Pai

Craving Thai food? Well Pai is known to be some of the best in the city! Luckily, being gluten-free won’t stop you from dining at this amazing restaurant. They have gluten-free menu items such as a papaya salad, a shrimp platter, and some vegan soups. The selection for gf options is not large by any means at this restaurant, but the flavours will be sure to impress you.

9. Bunner’s Bakeshop

This vegan and gluten-free bakery in the heart of Kensington Market is where you need to go for some sweet treats. Everything here is 100% gluten-free and all the baked goods are SO delicious!

10. Fresh

Fresh Restaurants have multiple plant-based restaurants across the city and it is a crowd favourite for healthy eats. They have a gluten-free menu but they specify that the food is prepared on the same surfaces as all the other food so there is the possibility of cross-contamination. Depending on the severity of your allergy, you should contact the restaurant before dining.

11. Bi Bim Bap

This Korean spot has many gluten-free options on their menu upon request. They specialize in all your Korean favourites served in stone bowls. It always hits the spot!

Terroni has been a Toronto staple for years, but did you know they also have a complete gluten-free menu? Perfect for an Italian date with your partner, and you can feel good about your options!
