This Mother’s Day, Craig’s Cookies is paying tribute to his mom with a new flavour: Strawberries and Cream. This bright pink cookie is very cute (and sweet) thanks to the addition of strawberry emulsion and white chocolate chips. Only available for the month of May.
Craig Pike first learned how to bake with his mom in St. John’s Newfoundland in the 1980s. They made cookies for friends and family using Craig’s mom’s special chocolate chip cookie recipe. This secret recipe spearheaded a company that became Toronto’s own, Craig’s Cookies. Each cookie comes stuffed with nostalgic childhood treats (Mars, Mini Egg, Peanut Butter Cup, etc.), but they are all based on mom’s original recipe.

Speaking of mom, this year you can celebrate her special day with some live choral music by ‘That Choir Unplugged’. Craig’s not-for-profit arts group, That Arts Group, is the umbrella company for That Choir, now in its 15th professional season.
Their unplugged concert series will take place at the 400-person capacity St Anne’s Anglican Church (270 Gladstone Ave, Toronto) with performances on Saturday, May 13 @ 8:00 PM and Sunday, May 14 @ 2:00 PM. Tickets are pay-what-you-can, making professional music accessible to all.

The set menu includes Executive Chef Thomas Salvo’s own Mushroom Caesar salad – a recipe he spent seven years perfecting – along with buttermilk pancakes to start, followed by D&T Bennys, homemade English muffins, D&T potatoes, and a breakfast meat platter.
