This vibe is lasting all the way to the last minute of the year because the scheduled New Year’s Eve events are endless and packed full of fun.
Whether you’re heading out to celebrate a great year with your boo or hitting the town to start 2023 with a new and promising flame, check out these events happening to help you live it up.
Dining experiences
Speakeasy Tapas Lounge
Enjoy a Roaring 20s-inspired New Year’s event with a six-course tapas menu from the newly-opened, Speakeasy Tapas Lounge. Featured dishes include Beef Tataki, Duck Confit Spring Rolls, Scallop & Roots, Seaside Ceviche, Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta, and an Early Grey Creme Brûlée with a Berry Compote. Relax to romantic live Jazz music by Rachelle Behrens during your meal and there’s also an option to add on a vintage wine pairing.
If you’re looking for more of a party, you can also choose to come to the restaurant for their DJ Party later in the night with bottle service and cocktails. There are tons of prizes to be won including tickets to a show at the National Arts Centre and an iPad!

Savanna Lounge
Celebrate the New Year at Savanna Lounge with their three-course tasting menu designed for sharing. Dishes include Oysers, Salmon Nigiri, Wagyu Tacos, Beef Short Rib, and Cookie Pie among other delicious options.
Two seating times are available – an Early Dinner (6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) for $165/pp and a Main Dinner (8:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) for $185/pp. Both seatings include entrance to their after-party.
Fauna Food + Bar
Head to Fauna for their iconic New Year’s Eve dinner – a delicious way to celebrate the beginning of 2023! Enjoy a spectacular 6-course menu with the option to add on a wine pairing and oysters with caviar.
North & Navy
Celebrate the end of 2022 with a taste of Northern Italy at North & Navy‘s New Year’s Eve celebration. Their 5-course tasting menu is inspired by the flavours and traditions of Alto Adige and its snowy peaks. A wine pairing is available as well for a truly delicious evening!
Stofa Restaurant
Enjoy innovative Canadian dishes at Stofa Restaurant, with a 5-course table d’hote style menu featuring an elevated amuse and chef’s course. This New Year’s Eve menu is available on both December 30th and 31st for $130/pp.
If you’re looking to stay cozy this New Year’s Eve, Stofa is also offering a Take-Home Meal for Two for $150/per meal. Bring in the new year with Short Rib Wellingtons, Nordic Shrimp, Chambord Chocolate Cheesecake, and other tasty dishes.
Aiana Restaurant Collective
Indulge in an extravagant 5-course (first seating at 5:30 p.m.) or 6-course menu (second seating at 9:00 p.m.) at Aiana‘s New Year’s Eve celebration, featuring dishes that will include Oyster, Lobster, Truffle, Caviar, Foie Gras, Wagyu, and Pear. A wine pairing is also available as an add-on.

Gray Jay Hospitality
Celebrate 2023 with a delicious wild and Canadian-inspired prix-fixe menu. This is a bittersweet event as it marks the end of the Gray Jay – a restaurant that has made a mark on Ottawa’s dining scene with their creative dishes. Their last service is sure to bring a mix of emotions as they serve some of their favourite dishes from past menus to celebrate new beginnings.
The Hintonburg Public House
Celebrate the magic of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day at The Hintonburg Public House! Enjoy snacks, drinks, and dinner on December 31st until 10:00 p.m. with the party continuing until 3:00 a.m. (bar snacks will be available until midnight). They’ll also be offering $4 Jameson shots and $6 craft beer after 5 p.m.
They’re also hosting a NYE Hangover Brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to start the new year right!

DoubleTree by Hilton Gatineau-Ottawa
Celebrate the new year at the DoubleTree by Hilton Gatineau-Ottawa with a Gatsby-themed “Glam & Champagne” event! Enjoy 1920s decor, bubbly, canapés, a 3-course menu, photo booth, dancing, and an incomparable festive atmosphere!
They also offer packages so that you can enjoy a hotel stay at a discounted rate for the event.

New Year at J’TM Featuring Roy Woods
Bring in the new year at J’TM Resto Bar‘s Late Night Party on December 31st! Presented by SAABs Entertainment & 1800 Tequila, with tunes by DJ JayBird and guest DJ Porte, this will be a party to remember! Dinner will also be served before the party from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (minimum $80/pp, reservations required).
The colours for the evening are black, grey, white, and gold. Semi-casual attire is highly recommended. Tables, lounges, and section bookings are available

“Let’s Get Fizzy: New Year’s Eve 2023” at CRAFT Beer Market Ottawa
The countdown to 2023 is on and CRAFT Beer Market Ottawa is ready to pop, clink, and fizz their way into the new year. They’re offering a 4-course dinner as well as a Countdown Party for a super affordable price. You can enjoy the dinner, a welcome drink, party favours, and a countdown dance party with a live DJ for just $90!
A featured cocktail, a festive French 75, will be available for $14. Their regular a la carte menu will be available as well during the Countdown Party.
Doors: Seating for dinner from 7-8 p.m., Countdown Party tickets are valid before 11 p.m.

A White Rabbit New Year’s Eve 2023
Get the crew together and head down to Slater St for the City at Night‘s White Rabbit New Year’s Eve party. This event will ring in the new year with a trip down the rabbit hole, $4 beer and bar rail during Hoppy Hour, and music by Rick Laplante, Tone A, Brink, and ALAMUSIC.

New Year’s Eve 2023 at The Lookout Bar & Nightclub
Live your best life at this fun and festive NYE party at Ottawa’s Home for Drag – The Lookout Bar. Come by for the 11:00 p.m. late show to close out your 2022 in the best way possible. There will be amazing drag performances, dancing, champagne toasts, and party favours!
