Looking for a meaningful and impactful date idea that combines love, compassion, and fundraising for a good cause?
The annual Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope event takes place on Sunday, September 10, 2023 in cities across Canada and we’re getting ready to lace up our sneakers!
The event is not only an opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones but also a chance to support a crucial cause. You’ll be joining a passionate community committed to raising awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research and support.
Together, we can make a real difference and bring hope to those affected by ovarian cancer.
About The Walk
3000 Canadians are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year, and many won’t live to see another five years. There’s something we can do as a community to help change that.
The Walk of Hope is the largest and most powerful event of its kind in the country. It is the only walk in Canada to direct all attention and fundraising towards improving outcomes and saving the lives of people living with and at risk of ovarian cancer.
Held annually during Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in September, this family-friendly event raises vital funds to provide support, enable vital research, and fuel advocacy efforts across Canada. To date, this event has raised over $32 million to help save lives!
You can participate in this year’s walk by registering to attend an in-person event in your city, or register as a virtual participant and walk the route of your choice.
