Birch & Anchor is Bedford’s hidden gem! This beautiful restaurant has the largest waterfront beer garden in the area overlooking the Bedford Basin. Sip on local craft beer, wine, or sodas and dine on delicious food from Asado Wood Fired Grill Catering. You can also enjoy live music on the weekend from Friday to Sunday.

Shaw’s Landing is a hidden gem located in the picturesque fishing community of West Dover, Nova Scotia. This is one of our favourite local spots to visit in the summer and is the perfect place to stop for a bite en route to Peggy’s Point Lighthouse. Their patio has one of the most breathtaking ocean views and they serve up some of the best lobster rolls in town.

Celtic Corner is a traditional Irish pub that offers incredible views of the Halifax Harbour and Downtown Halifax from their rooftop patio. Enjoy savoury pies, beer and wine, and fun events such as Trivia Night and live Maritime music.
