There’s a brand new hotel by Hilton that recently opened their doors in downtown Toronto’s entertainment district. Just steps from the city’s dazzling attractions and areas, Revery Toronto Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton is a theatrical oasis where each space is filled with its own distinct character and story.

First Impressions

Upon entering Revery, their valet graciously took our vehicle, we walked into a monochromatic lobby that felt like the set of a film – design details included hints of nostalgia with images of famous pop-culture icons and celebrities, as well as B&W film playing on the lobby screens.

The interior was entirely chrome, even the reception desks, and the vibe gave Hollywood chic at its finest. To the left is a theatrically designed curtain with a red carpet leading into the elevators and waiting area.

Parallel to the elevators was a massive wall to wall collage painting of pop culture icons enjoying each others company at a bar.

Muse Lobby Bar

To the right of the reception is the dreamy Muse Lobby Bar, which also acts as the main entrance to Revery that flaunts deep red modern interiors and accent pieces pop off the ceramic white floor to ceiling interior that really allure you, and a contrasting all white beautifully lit bar where we were welcomed with their exclusive 13 Kings Rosé wine.

Keep an eye out for their Happy Hour from 4pm-7pm daily featuring $12 classic cocktails, $12 sparkling wine, $10 wine, and $7 beers from Collective Arts. Get into a good vibe during events at Muse Lobby Bar like their Sound Sessions with local DJs (every Thursday from 6pm-10pm).

13 Kings Rosé

Find this special wine only at Revery. Their partnership with 13 Kings winery has produced a Sparkling Rosé bottle that isn’t available anywhere other than Revery & the winery.

Dining at Deauville Club

We had an amazing dinner in the dreamy Deauville Club – the all pink restaurant atmosphere pictures a bright entrance lit by the skylight and shines on a feathery centrepiece in the middle of the restaurant tables.

Deauville Club is easily one of the most gorgeous restaurants we have seen in the city with their lush interiors, sift elegance, and of course their stunning 270-bottle wine wall.

The service was excellent and we enjoyed cocktails like the Palomino and Cafe Coco, fresh summer roll appetizer. A classic Paella and Australian Prime Striploin with a side of french fries. For dessert we indulged in a creamy creme brûlée.

Back at Deauville Club for breakfast and our experience was as amazing as the dinner – we enjoyed Huevos Rancheros, the Deauville Classic, an Ontario Parfait, an Almond Croissant, the “Be Well” drink and an Iced Latte.

During the weekends, Deauville Club hosts a “Saturday Spritz Brunch” in partnership with Campari, offering delicious new brunch dishes, a live DJ, and $12 Campari cocktails.

The Suite

Our suite interior was equally as gorgeous and kept on the theme of the red carpet, high status vibes with red accents everywhere on a white canvas.

The curved Hollywood style full-length mirror and central focus on the lighting creates a glamorous “dressing room” look and makes you feel like a glamorous actor! It’s a perfect addition for getting that perfect photo and OOTD look.

The Suites are ultra spacious and sleek with high-gloss lacquered finishes, marble accents, and automated touches. While staying, you’ll also have access to a 65″ Smart TV, mini fridge, in-room safe, soaking tub and separate walk-in shower, and complimentary Nespresso/Tea.

The automated lights and curtains among other high-tech conveniences remind you that while the design may scream *old Hollywood*, all the touches are very modern and contemporary, answering the needs of a downtown stay throughout the 224 luxe rooms.

Final Thoughts

Staying somewhere that you can quite literally walk to any central downtown destination from the front doors is always impressive; mix that with stunning design and modern comforts and touches and you have an ideal date night.
