About RYE LANE

This adorable film from Searchlight Pictures tells the story of Yas and Dom, two strangers who meet in a gender-neutral restroom at an art exhibition in South London. They bond over their recent breakups and spend the day together, trying new things and pushing each other out of their comfort zones.

Dom confides in Yas about his difficult encounter with his ex-girlfriend, where he discovered her infidelity through a mistakenly sent explicit photo.

As they spend the day together, they push each other out of their comfort zones, trying new things. However, breaking into Yas’ ex-boyfriend’s house causes a rift between them.

After some time apart, they reconnect near the River Thames, embracing each other after the changes in their lives.

RYE LANE held a special pre-screening of the film in Toronto at the TIFF Bell Lightbox and we had the opportunity to check it out!
