Beat The Summer Heat With These Activities In Edmonton

Edmonton has been blasted with summer weather this August and looks like that won't stop into September!

This summer started off slow and is finishing off strong! We have seen non-stop sunshine and hot temperatures here in Edmonton & most of Alberta. Which is most welcomed when we all know how short lived our summers are.

Most of us Albertans aren’t built for the hot weather so these are a few easy ways to cool down and beat the heat.

We are lucky to have a number of great outdoor pools here in Edmonton. The Queen Elizabeth Outdoor Pool just celebrated 100 years of operation! Slap on that SPF, load up the cooler, and get suited up for a dip at one of the YEG outdoor pools.

There’s nothing better than getting out on the water on a hot day! If you don’t want to go through the hassel of getting your own boat or raft, Paddle Station offers rafts and kayaks to rent and enjoy.
