A zen space that you fall in love with the moment you walk in the doors, ZCREW Cafe is the perfect little home away from home. As their mission statement exclaims, ZCREW truly is “Handcrafted With Love” and you feel this in the friendly personalities of the staff to the artistically presented dishes. Located under the Guardian North Tower condominium this cafe offers something freshly conspired for your individual morning coffee or mid-day snack with a friend. The food is handcrafted and locally sourced and there is a wide variety of specialty teas, coffees and alcoholic beverages for your zen time.

The bamboo, peaceful music and quaint bench seats make you want to stay here forever. The special Japanese green tea drink, Houjicha latte, dances fluidly across your tongue and pairs beautifully with the Spicy Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, a wonderfully delicious dish to liven up your taste buds. Go ahead and grab a scone and latte for breakfast or sit and let them serve your meal made with love.

This is my new favourite spot in the city and hope it becomes yours too. It’s an ideal place for a quality bite at a price that won’t hurt your budget with most plates ranging from $15-17 and coffee and tea around $5. They are open from 7am-7pm every day except Saturday and Sunday when they open from 9am-4pm, closing only on statutory holidays.
