Take a dip to fight human trafficking. On January 1st, a group of 150 “dipsters” will plunge into icy water while wearing costumes in support of the SA Foundation. If you’d like to watch the event happen, spectators are welcome to sit on the sidelines and watch for free. This year’s guest hosts are past Amazing Race contestants, Julie and Lowell Taylor.

Catch a 10-Minute Play Festival where six of the city’s most exciting theatre companies must create an original 10-minute play in 24 hours, inspired only by a prop and a line of dialogue. The event is part of Calgary’s annual High Performance Rodeo which celebrates the diversity in our city with an array of live performances from around the world. The plays is on January 12th but HPR will run until January 27th.
