Canadian music icon, Avril Lavigne, is visiting Halifax on her first Canadian tour in over 10 years with the Bite Me Canada 2022 Tour featuring special guests, grandson, and her recently-announced fiancée, Mod Sun.

$1 from each ticket sold will go towards the Avril Lavigne Foundation which supports people with serious illnesses and disabilities.

Join Art Battle Halifax for the most anticipated event of the season! Regular season winners from Halifax, Moncton, Saint John, Fredericton, and St. John’s return for their chance to become the 2022 Atlantic Canada Champion and head to the National Championships in Toronto!

Experience Nova Scotia’s premiere summer spectacle from June 25 to July 2 with the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo!

This historic festival began in 1979 as a way to celebrate the first International Gathering of the Clans held outside Scotland. What was initially meant to be a one-time show has captivated audiences all over the world. Whether it’s the skirl of the bagpipes, the beating of the drums, the military displays, or the highland flings, this show aims to highlight the best of the best. 

This family-friendly event will include performances from The Flying Grandpas, the Stadacona Band of the Royal Canadian Navy, High Flyer RB3, Zamani and more.

Where: Scotiabank Centre, 1800 Argyle St

The Grand Oasis Festival Series is a free festival to celebrate music, art, and culture at the Grand Parade in Downtown Halifax beginning on June 21 with National Indigenous Peoples Day.

All events are free of charge however festival goers have the option to secure a guaranteed free pass. This pass guarantees your space indoors or outdoors so that you don’t have to worry about the event reaching capacity before you arrive!

Each week will include a new lineup of artists and events from Canada’s greatest hitmakers to Billboard chart-topping sensations and Indigenous artists and voices. 

When: June 21, 2022 from 7-9 p.m.

Where: Grand Parade Square

Think you and your squad could solve a murder case? Experience life as a crime scene investigator in this thrilling outdoor murder mystery event coming to Halifax this month.

You and your friends will use forensic techniques, codebreaking, and good old-fashioned detective work to crack the case in this limited ticket event. Prizes will also be awarded to the fastest team, the best dressed, the best team pic and more!

If you’re someone that loves escape rooms and puzzles, this is the date idea for you! Team tickets are $105 for up to 6 players (1 ticket per group).

The Ultimate Kitchen Party’s first show is happening this month on June 23 with live performances by the following “Outta Lockdown Showdown” contest winners: Jo Jenkins, Leona Burkley, and Chillin’ Sound (with more artists to be announced!) You’ll also get to enjoy a live performance from Merimac – a local Halifax group playing classic rock, maritime/celtic pop, country and more. 

Tickets are $15 (+tax) with proceeds benefitting the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia to improve the lives of Nova Scotians affected by mental illness.

The Big Comeback - Mini Festival

Under the beautiful glow of a black light, you and your date will learn about the deeper meaning of mandalas, how to create rhythm in your art, colour selection and dotting techniques, and different dotting tools and how to use them.
