Whether you have ten people on your list or you’re just looking to treat yo self, with all the unique vendors, at Make It you’ll be able to find a gift for every person on your list (and yourself of course). Get your girls together and bring bae and make a day of exploring the market on December 6-9 at Deerfoot City. There are so many cool local vendors and delicious food trucks for you to grab lunch at.

Make It launched in 2008 by Chandler and Jenna Herbert and have been producing markets twice a year in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. It has grown to become one of the most popular and well-attended craft fairs in Canada. The goal is to make people more conscious with their purchases and support local Makies. It has grown over the years and this year there will be over 130+ vendors at Make It in Calgary.

If you’ve never been to Make It before, we’ve put together a quick guide for what you can expect when you roll up at the front. Make sure you save the date in your calendar, you won’t want to miss this #supportlocal moment.

MAKIES

When you buy local you’re supporting the Makies of your city so they can pay their bills and keep producing super cool and unique products. Each year there are new Makies on the scene and of course the veterans that we’ve grown to know and love. Make sure you check out new Makies like Bathisserie, Montgomery Creek Designs, Natural Kitchen Delights and Polar Piece. But you can’t forget about the vendors that come back year after year like Lauren Mary Holistics, Ole Originals, Beeswax & Cotton and The Lemon Square. Check out the full list of Calgary Makies HERE.

Feel good about what you buy, while being inspired by the Makies’ creativity. You’ll be sure to find gifts for everyone in your life plus a few extras for yourself. Head down to Deerfoot City on December 6-9 for the 2018 holiday show. For more information, visit Make It’s website HERE.
