1. Chris Hadfield Presents Exploration: Where We’re Going Next

Bring your date to enjoy this unique experience under the night sky. Prepare to be dazzled by one of Canada’s best outdoor dinner events as you’re served an elegant 4 course meal and tasty libations. This culinary experience is expertly crafted by Chef Daryl Kerr alongside Chef Jenny Kang of Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant.


3. Joni Mitchell’s The Fiddle & The Drum

May 1st-4th at 7:30pm with an additional Saturday matinee at 2pm

Come celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the world premiere of Joni Mitchell’s The Fiddle and the Drum. This is a passion-filled collaboration between Canadian singer-songwriter, Joni Mitchell, and Choreographer Jean Grand-Maître.

The Fiddle and the Drum passionately express Mitchell’s lifelong concern with the issues of conflict, violence and humanity’s continuing devastation of the environment. Alberta Ballet dancers depict the famous characters from Mitchell’s  work. The portrait ballet series continues to grow and today includes other noteworthy artists, including k.d. lang, Sarah McLachlan, Elton John, Gordon Lightfoot and The Tragically Hip.

4. Around the Mediterranean
May 2nd from 6:30pm-9:30pm

Take a seat “Around the Mediterranean” and get ready to roll up your sleeves and create classic dishes inspired by flavours of the Mediterranean coast. This class includes a recipe booklet, a three course meal with wine sampling, and a customized kitchen utensil to take home.

5. Calgary International Beerfest
May 3rd from 3pm-10pm and May 4th from 2pm-10pm
