The Cork & Cuisine Supper Club features a new theme each month and aims to pair exquisite wines from around the world with some of the city’s top culinary dishes prepared by Chef Jenny Kang. Enjoy some tasty dishes and wine pairings with a presentation from the Fine Wine Director at Willow Park Wine & Spirits. The four course menu includes dishes like Grilled Watermelon and Tiger Prawns, Chicken Yakitori, Grilled Pork Chop and Grilled Stone Fruit Tart.
2. Mill Street Patio Party

This Thursday, bring your date down to Mill Street to sample their specialty beer – The INNkeepers Brew – for one day only. This event will be a tiki-themed patio party celebrating the last few sweet weeks of summer. Put on your best tropical outfit and join them on the patio. Funds from this party will go to support Inn from the Cold. Make sure to bring along some non-perishable, nut-free snacks as they’ll be collecting for lunches and after school snacks.
3. Zen 8 Grill + Kokedama Experience

Kokedama is bringing you an exclusive Kokedama Studio Session in Zen 8’s private Kabuki Room. Join them in an exercise of mindfulness through Kokedama making as you sip on Japanese tea and snack on different types of wagashi (traditional Japanese confections). All materials are provided and you’ll bring home a kokedama of your very own to enjoy.
4. Adult Night at The Calgary Zoo: Movie Night

On August 16th, the Calgary Zoo is offering you a chance to step up and take a stand for your planet with a Galactic Quest scavenger hunt and movie night. Come take a stand for the species of our planet while eating, drinking, playing games and watching the movie, Guardians of the Galaxy. Being a guardian is rough, but someone has to do it. Your ticket includes: Movie, brisket sliders and baked potato buffet (veggie options on request), one drink ticket and games.
5. Globalfest
