The magic of croissants, danishes, turnovers, and puff pastries is revealed in this hands-on workshop that demonstrates the technique of layering yeast leavened dough with butter. You’ll learn how to get the most flavour and flakiness out of your products, and understand everything you’ll need to repeat the success at home.This class includes a recipe booklet, a light meal and a customized kitchen utensil to take home.

Back by popular demand, the second annual Kensington Summertime Outdoor Movies series is back this summer. Bring your boo to Kensington and enjoy some classic flicks under the stars. Looking to get your fill of good eats while still celebrating pride? Hotel Arts has got you covered. Sashay, Fillet! Is set to be an unforgettable evening where the worlds of culinary and drag will come together to celebrate Calgary Pride. Five local chefs from some of Calgary’s favourite restaurants will be teamed up with some of the city’s local drag talents in a series of interactive challenges on-stage throughout the evening. Helping to judge the event will be celebrity co-hosts Top Chef Canada judge Mijune Pak and Yuhua Hamaski of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10.
