3. A Christmas Carol

Keep the holiday tradition alive by coming to see the 32nd annual telling of Theatre Calgary’s A Christmas Carol at the Max Bell Theatre. Attendees will see the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future as they guide Ebenezer Scrooge on a voyage through time. This year is a cause for extra celebration as it will be lead actor, Stephen Hair’s 25th season playing Scrooge.

4. Check Out a Christmas Cocktail Bar

Come deck the halls with Proof at their Christmas cocktail bar called Miracle on 1st Street. The first bar in Western Canada to host this pop-up, you can expect to find festive decor and a special holiday cocktail menu that comes complete with holiday-inspired names, ingredients, and glasses. Sip on drinks like the Christmopolitan, Snowball Old-Fashioned, and Kris Kringle Colada.

 

5. Lion’s Festival of Lights

This is the city’s largest free drive-by Christmas lights display. Showcasing over 450,000 bulbs on 16,000 strings along 14th Street NW, it’s the perfect place to take your bae for a date that will be go easy on your budget.
