Mark your calendars, poutine lovers. Calgary Poutine Week returns to Calgary from April 20th to 28th and is your chance to indulge in guilt-free poutine. That’s because for every poutine sold from a participating restaurant, Mealshare will provide a free meal to someone in need. Expect to find unique twists on this classic dish from more than 70 participating restaurants like Calcutta Cricket Club’s Chips and Curry Poutine, Home and Away’s Braised Beef Poutine, OEB’s Soul in a Bowl Poutine and more.
2. Climb for Wilderness 2018

Do some good in your ‘hood. This Saturday, bring your squad to celebrate Earth Day with Climb for Wildness at the Bow Building. Participants will get the chance to climb all 1,204 stairs of the Bow, enjoy breathtaking views, and have the chance to win some amazing prizes while doing their part to protect Alberta’s wilderness. People of all ages and athletic ability are invited to join. All funds raised go directly towards the Alberta Wilderness Association (AWA).
3. 2018 YYCfit Health & Fitness Expo

Calling all our health nuts – the second annual YYCfit Expo is back this weekend. Whether you’re a newbie in the gym or a seasoned pro, this show will appeal to everyone with an interest in health and fitness. Last year’s event showcased vendors like Barbell Bros, Harbour Meals, Lagree YYC, Made Foods, Lorna Jane Activewear and Pole Junkies and this year promises more of the same.
4. YYCFoodTrucks Spring Frenzy

They’re baaaaaaaaack, YYC. With Spring officially in the air, the YYCFoodTrucks are officially back to kick off another incredible season. This weekend, head down to C-Square in East Village to enjoy 15+ food trucks, live music and other activities including a marketplace and arts installations.
5. Cheese Making Workshop Level I
