1. The Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo

The Calgary Comic & Entertainment Expo provides a place for fans from every corner of the nerd universe to gather and celebrate what makes them geeky in a positive, safe, and elevating environment – science fiction, comic books, film, television, horror, fantasy, animation, pop culture, and so much more. Come let out your inner nerd this weekend.

2. POW! Parade of Wonders
April 26th at 10am

The POW! Parade of Wonders is a cosplay parade celebrating pop culture and creativity in Calgary’s downtown. It’s free to participate, but to walk in the parade you MUST be decked out in cosplay. Expo goers and downtown office workers alike get involved and join in on the fun to witness this unique event.

3. YYCFoodTrucks 2019 Spring Frenzy

April 26th from 2pm-7pm and April 27th-28th from 11am-7pm
East Village, C-Square 7 Avenue & 4 Street SE

Eat and drink until your belly is bursting at this year’s food truck festival. Sixteen food trucks, live music and local DJs will be found at this fun, family- and dog-friendly event for only $5 entry.

5. CSSC Volleyball Tournament
