February 24th–29th is the last full week of one of the “hottest” and “sweetest” events to hit YYC all year — Hot Chocolate Fest. Various city-wide cafes and restaurants participate every Feb. by creating totally original, signature hot chocolates to snatch the title of Best Hot Chocolate in YYC — bragging rights much? Better yet, a portion of all Hot Chocolate Fest beverage sales are donated to Meals on Wheels

We hardcore recommend Lina’s Italian Market’s Sapori di Sicilia. You’ll go mad for this 70% Madagascar Dark Chocolate based bevvie topped with luscious homemade whip cream and embellished with pistachio bronte and drizzle — YUM.
