From the Locked Library to Wild Woman Book Club, here’s what’s up this weekend in YYC.
1. Locked Library

The New Central Library is hosting its first Locked Library event this Friday. Discover the library after hours and let your puzzle solving and teamwork skills take over. Your team will have two hours to work together, solve puzzles, and escape. Proceeds from the event will support the Calgary Public Library Foundation.
2. Jasper Beer and Barley Summit

The Jasper Beer & Barley Summit, hosted at the world-renowned Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, is unlike any other beer festival experience in the world. Think of it as part beer/spirit festival, part intriguing story-time seminars, and part wilderness adventure. Each evening of the summit will offer a different line of delicious craft beers and spirits to sample and mouthwatering food from some of Jasper’s best chefs.
3. Evolve Retreat

Evolve Retreat is a powerful one-day wellness program that will help you clear your mind, nourish your soul, and kick-start a healthy eating and exercise routine. Join Dr. Ingemaud Gerber, celebrity trainer Tommy Europe, Marin McCue, Sarah Harvie, Erin Beach and Melissa Goldsmith for an active day of fitness, yoga, nutrition demonstrations, outdoor adventure, and a better sleep workshop. The day will end with a peaceful Yoga Nidra practice, accompanied by a live cello performance.
4. Super Bowl 53 at Home & Away

Catch Super Bowl 53 at Home & Away. They’ll have $14 brunch until 3pm and $4.75 all day happy hour. Pair it with $4 Coors Banquet and light draft or $15 buckets of Miller High Life. 5. The Wild Woman Book Club by The Ace Class
