1. La Rouge
November 9th and 10th at 7:30pm

The Sanguine Sirens will be performing a queer burlesque and theatre retelling of Moulin Rouge at this one-of-a-kind show. Grab some snacks, sip on some feature drinks, and be transported you to Paris where the romance of Kate and Satine will unravel behind the wealthy Duke’s back. Acts include aerial hoop, silks, pole, acrobatics, jazz, nouveau burlesque, boylesque, tango, musical theatre, rap, and more.


2. Millarville Christmas Market
Runs until November 11th from 10am-5pm

This November, the Millarville Christmas Market returns for its 30th year. Bring your date to enjoy fabulous light displays, food, hayrides, carollers, crafts, and of course, tons of your favourite seasonal vendors. Whether you’re looking to dress up your home for the holidays or find a one-of-a-kind gift for someone special, you’ll be in luck here. Dress warm to visit both the indoor and outdoor vendors.


3. Okotoks Christmas Market
November 9th-11th at Various Times

This three-day Okotoks Christmas Market is back offering over 175 of the best artisans from Southern Alberta. There will also be interactive activities, photos with Santa, and live carolling, making this holiday market one of the most anticipated ones of the season. 

4. Remembrance Day Ceremony
November 11th at 10am
Burnswest Theatre, Fort Calgary, 750 9 Ave SE

Head over to Fort Calgary on Remembrance Day for a special service facilitated by the RCMP Veterans’ Association of Calgary. The emotional ceremony features bagpipes, readings and choral singers. Afterwards, tour their annual holiday Artisan’s Fair featuring over 60 local vendors. Entrance is free with a non-perishable donation to the Veterans Food Bank.  

5. Remembrance Day at Studio Bell
November 11th from 10am-5pm
Studio Bell, Home of the National Music Centre, 850 4 St SE

Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, will be honouring our veterans this Remembrance Day. Special activities include a performance by the Southern Stardust Big Band, a 20-piece orchestra, public tours, exclusive demonstrations, and more. Veterans and non-veterans will both enjoy discounted admission this day.
