From Grease to Glenbow Community Day, here’s what’s up this weekend in YYC.

Flashback to the 1950’s with Rydell High’s senior class of 1959 in the original high school musical. Popular guy Danny Zuko and good girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the highs of their summer romance, as they battle through peer pressure and school drama.
2. UNOBAND Album Release Concert
March 1st at 9pm
The Rec Room, 901 64 Ave NE
The Rec Room presents the talented UNOBAND Album Release Concert. Tune in for special guest performances by Mango Sound Band from Venezuela and DJ Henry who will be spinning the best of Latin tunes.
3. CSSC Dodgeball Tournament
March 2nd from 9am-5pm
Lord Beaverbrook High School, 9019 Fairmount Dr SE
Register for a full-day adult co-ed dodgeball tournament with the Calgary Sport and Social Club. Come play as an individual or with a few friends. Dodgeball veterans and newbies are welcome. There will be an optional after-party to follow.
4. A Wok Through Asia Cooking Class
March 2nd from 5:30pm-8:30pm
Cuisine et Chateau, 227 10 St NW
Take a Wok Through Asia with expert chef instructor Jeff Matthews. Prepare your taste buds for a flavorful journey in this three hour class where they’ll serve dishes like a crispy tofu sate, fish curry with paratha bread, Balinese braised pork with sweet soy sauce, and a tapioca and Thai mint nage. This class includes a recipe booklet, a 3 course meal with wine pairing or non-alcoholic beverage and a customized kitchen utensil to take home.
5. Glenbow Community Day
March 3rd from 9am-5pm
Glenbow Museum, 130 9 Ave SE
On Sunday, March 3, the Glenbow will be celebrating the community with their sixth annual Community Day. Come check out what the Glenbow has to offer for free, including their new and very popular Christian Dior exhibit.
