1. Easter Floral Centerpiece Workshop

Looking to impress your guests this Easter? Plant has got you covered. On March 30th, bring 3your friends to their shop and join their talented floral arranger extraordinaire Alysa as she shows you how to make the most beautiful, organic, and colourful floral centrepiece for you to show off on Easter day. Included in this workshop are step-by-step foolproof instructions, all supplies, as well as snacks and hot beverages.


2. Easter at the Market
March 30th – March 31st from 10am-2pm

Celebrate Easter at the Calgary Farmers’ Market on Friday, March 30th and Saturday, March 31st from 10am-2pm. Hop over to the main stage and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny while you decorate an Easter cookie of your very own (while supplies last). Don’t forget to bring along a cash or food donation too for the Calgary Food Bank.

3. Family Chocolate Making Class

Bring the whole family to Cuisine et Chateau on Good Friday for a “Hands On” chocolate-filled day. You’ll learn different delicious recipes including chocolate eggs filled with milk chocolate caramel, English toffee chocolate bark, chocolate cream and double chocolate brownies. No matter your level of cooking skills, this class is suitable for everyone. The class includes a take home apron, recipe booklet, and goodies for you to take home and enjoy.

4. Easter Brunch at the Ranche

Looking to avoid the rush on Easter Sunday but still want to get your brunch on? Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant has got you covered. They’ll be offering Easter Brunch on Saturday, March 31st and Sunday, April 1st. Their special Easter menu made by Chef Jenny Kang includes three courses with dishes like Belgian Sweet Waffle, Bunny’s Rainbow Carrot Salad, a pineapple glaze roasted ham, honey butter french toast, Easter cupcakes and macaron lollipops.

5. Taste of Jamaica 2018

Immerse yourself in a showcase of Jamaican culture at the 2018 Taste of Jamaica. The event has been going on for more than 20 years and features day-long surprises, live performances, activities, and fun for the entire family. Entry to the event for all adults includes a teaser of authentic Jamaican cuisine – including Jamaican dumplings, jerk chicken, patties and ackee and saltfish. Don’t miss out on the Taste of Jamaica raffle where one lucky winner will walk away with the grand prize of a Jamaican vacation for two.
