While the start of 2022 may have been slow with the pandemmy causing businesses to close, we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and that means more new things. If you haven’t been keeping track of everything that’s surfaced in and around the city so far this year, we got you!

These are five businesses that have opened in 2022, and we’re just at the beginning.

Othership

Othership Toronto is a social club and House of Transformation that focuses on improving wellness and shifting your state using saunas, ice baths, breathwork and yoga. This is a wellness sanctuary that hosts evening socials, self-guided free flows, and classes.

This is the perfect spot to explore if you’re levelling up your wellness journey and looking to connect with people who are on the same path!

Member’s Only Waffle House

This cheeky waffle and dessert shop had a pop-up on the streets of Queen West during the summer of 2021 and now have opened a permanent, storefront location in Toronto. Become a member and try a member at this cute, pink waffle shop.

Kettlemans Bagel

These adored bagels are Canada’s fastest growing bagel company. Before, you could only find their bagels in Ottawa and Kanata, or at Costco and Farm Boy. Now, they’ve opened a brand new location at Bathurst in Toronto; they also have an Etobicoke location.
