Meet local couple Molly (@mollyyli) and Emily (itssimplyem_). These two are photographers with an eye for all things beautiful (check out their Instagram for proof) and a love for going on adventures. There also happens to be a good amount of pizza on their feed, so you know we’re naturally already a big fan of them. 🍕 Read on to get to learn more about Molly and Emily.

How did you meet?
We started talking through Instagram, but met in person at Calgary Pride 2017!
If you could choose two celebrities to play yourselves in a movie, who would you choose and why? What would the movie be about?
Molly: Jennifer Lawrence because she’s pretty weird … and I’m pretty weird. Plus I’ve always aspired to be a badass like Katniss.
Emily: Emma Watson because she’s British and I love that she’s an activist for so many great causes!
The movie would be about facing the fear of judgment, falling in love and accepting your true self. (Telling your friends and family that you’re in love with a girl is scary, but the best thing that ever happened to us!)

1. Rosso in Inglewood
2. Una for Beltline pizza
3. Scotsman Hill for a walk and photo shoot
If Taylor Swift were to write a song abut you, what would it be called and why?
Love Wins – Sending out the message that it doesn’t matter who you love. Love comes in many forms and has no boundaries or limitations.
What would your advice be on how to overcome challenges in a relationship?
The most important foundation of our relationship is honesty. From the start, we’ve always been completely open with each other. It feels really great to be able to place your full trust in someone.
What superpower does your partner have?
Molly: Emily’s ability to make me laugh uncontrollably to the point of tears.
Emily: Molly has insane dance moves, and she’s such a goofball that I’m always smiling around her.
