Perfect for date nights or sampling a little bit of everything with friends, they offer platters for two, four, and even 10 people!
Some of our favourite menu items include:
- Rip Tips Appetizer

And make sure to check out this spot in the summer for events, patio drinks, and more fun!

The Lancaster Smokehouse
Okay, we know this is a LITTLE bit outside of the GTA but we can’t help it – it’s worth the drive and when you get a bite of that brisket you’ll understand why. Not only are their meats perfect and tender, but their sides are so good you’re physically impossible to decide between the beans, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and curly fries.
If your face and hands don’t get messy while eating BBQ, you’re doing it all wrong. Just make sure your date is worthy of seeing you get a little saucy.
Where to find them: 574 Lancaster St. W., Kitchener
Beach Hill Smokehouse
You’ll find authentic Texas BBQ at this spot, and they’re passionate about what the Texas food scene is all about! “That may sound bias, but more than 1/2 of the top Barbecue restaurants in the world that serve smoked meats come from simple butcher shops in Central Texas. Central Texas style barbecue focuses on high quality meats rubbed with spices and cooked over indirect heat with pecan or oak wood.”
Expect some high quality BBQ and Southern hospitality when you head to your Beach Hill date.

You and your date will enjoy the best selection of craft beer in the area, which we heard is the perfect thing to wash down their tasty platters and meals.
