Nova Scotian weather is finally warming up which means it is time for camping (aka glamping) season! Grab your tents, gear and sunscreen and head over to your family’s favourite campground. If you’re not a seasoned camper, want to “camp” but don’t want to go full “survivor mode”, or simply just don’t have camping equipment… don’t fret!

Here are five glamping spots that require zero gear. All you have to do is book and show up!

Porters Peak

Just 40 minutes away from Halifax, Porters Peak offers a unique camping experience with their luxurious glamping tents. You can even enjoy some lakeside adventures like free paddle board rentals, an inflatable party float, and dock access.
