We have heard nothing but amazing things about their pasta-making workshops and as a tip, we recommend booking those experiences quite far in advance as they’re very popular and fill up fast!

Another option at Eataly Toronto is the Chef’s Table dinners. We had the privilege of attending a special Holiday Truffle edition of Chef’s Table recently and had such a nice time watching Chef demonstrate the steps for making this iconic dish, and then sampling it for ourselves of course!

We had Tajarin al Burro con Tartufo e Parmigiano, or Tajarin pasta with butter, truffle and parmesan.

What to expect at Eataly Chef’s Table Events

The Scuola chef will expertly guide you through the art of crafting delicate pasta (in this case, Tajarin infused with the earthy richness of truffles and the decadence of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese). 

You and your date can immerse yourself in the world of gourmet Italian cuisine learning all the necessary techniques from selecting ingredients, to prepping, chopping, whisking, and sautéing to create the best dish! This is done through watching the chef of La Scuola expertly demonstrate how to make the pasta dish of the day that you’ll be enjoying.

While that’s happening you’ll indulge in a glass of welcome Prosecco to relax into your date night.

Then, enjoy the finished dish paired with a glass of wine carefully selected by Eataly’s beverage expert.
