Le Dîner en Blanc is returning to Toronto at an all-new secret location on Thursday, September 19th, 2024!
More than 1,200 attendees, all dressed in white will take over one of Toronto’s public spaces for an evening that celebrates their shared passions for life, food, fashion and community with a twist of mystique.
What began in Paris as a small, intimate gathering where friends dressed in white to find one another has evolved into one of Toronto’s most anticipated events. This year, guests will put on their finest white attire and gather at a secret location to dine à la française for an evening full of art, fashion, food, wine and culture in the heart of the city—it’s a testament to Toronto’s deep desire for connection and community.
How to get on the list?
Registration for this ultra-exclusive event takes place in three phases.
First, members from the previous year and friends of the organizers were contacted and invited. Then , friends “sponsored” by Phase 1 members were invited.

I’m coming, so how does the dinner work?
To maintain the uniqueness of Le Dîner en Blanc, every guest has a part to play and observes certain requirements.
The most important and popular rule for guests, though: head-to-toe in white only. Elegance and originality are key, and prizes will be awarded for the best dressed.
VENUE
You won’t find out where it’s being held until ONE HOUR before the event!
To ensure that the location secret is kept undisclosed until the event starts, guests meet at the assigned departure location and are escorted to the final venue by a Dîner en Blanc volunteer.
D.I.Y AT DÎNER EN BLANC
Once the location is revealed, guests transform the space by bringing their own table, two white chairs, and all-white tablecloth.
What about the food? Guests are also instructed to bring a picnic basket comprising of fine food, proper stemware, and white dinnerware.
Hoping to get someone else to do the cooking? A catered picnic basket option prepared by award-winning Chef Trevor Lui can be picked up on site for those who do not wish to pack their own. You must reserve this online through Le Dîner en Blanc’s e-store.
To keep with the Parisian theme, the only beverages available will be wine and champagne (no cocktails!). Wine for the evening will be curated by Toronto’s iconic wine club, Charlie’s Burgers.
