With the last total eclipse visible in the city way back in 1932 and the next one not expected for another 180 years, we’re definitely in for a treat. However, it’s important to remember that staring directly at the sun during an eclipse can be incredibly dangerous and damaging to the eyes.
But fear not, because Montreal has you covered! You can pick up a free pair of special eclipse glasses at participating libraries across the city, as well as at the Montreal Science Center, which will serve as an official viewing location.
