It’s a post time date night with Century Downs in Calgary! A night at the races is the action packed date night you and your partner have been waiting for!
If you thought watching the race and betting were the only things to do here, you’d be mistaken.

Grab a spot track side to watch the horses thunder by or watch from a table while you enjoy your dinner at The Derby Restaurant! Standardbred racing happens most Tuesday and Saturdays with post time at 2:15pm. For the full race schedule, click here.
This summer you can experience the thrill of Chuckwagon Racing as Century Downs Racetrack and Casino presents the World Professional Chuckwagon Association World Finals on August 24 – 28, 2022.
Stay tuned for the starting of Thoroughbred Racing as well as Quarter Horses races.
Get A Barn Tour
Have you ever wondered what it is like backstage for the horses?! Well, you can book a barn tour and see all the workings of the track! Barn tours are free to attend and open to all ages. Tours will run most Saturdays at 12:30 p.m and are limited to 15 people.

The Derby Restaurant is located inside the casino. Led by Chef, Josef Schonauer. Watch the races while you eat or grab a romantic dinner after you collect your winning from the horse you bet on!
Friday & Saturday
Kitchen Service – 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Bar Service – 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Sunday through Thursday
Kitchen Service – 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Bar Service – 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
The breakfast menu runs from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. The taco menu is served only on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Finish Off The Night At The Casino
After the races are done and you have finished your dinner head down to the Century Downs Casino to finish off the night with some fun games!
Century Downs gaming floor offers an exclusive selection of over 670 slot machines and VLTs to choose from. As well as electronic roulette and more!
