The Howland Inn Séance

Attention all 18+ paranormal enthusiasts! Celebrity mentalist Jaymes White is back with The Howland Inn Séance! His events have been sold out six years in a row. This is s once in a lifetime experience (because you’ll probably be too scared to do it again).

Jaymes invites groups of 16-18 guests to a chilling recreation of an authentic Victorian Séance, terrifying participants in Toronto at creepy locations year after year.

When: Until the end of November

Where: Lambton Park, 4020 Dundas Street West, Toronto

Meet at the intersection of Howland Avenue and Dundas Street West (at the North East corner bus stop in front of the 4020 Dundas Street West Plaza). You will then be escorted a short walking distance to the Séance Location.

The Haunted Office

This extremely scary Toronto haunt is an old abandoned office turned into a terrifying walk-through. Now, returning to the office after over a year working from home is scary enough, but this attraction has definitely taken it up a notch. Check out this scary date idea and prepare yourself by watching the walk-through video below… if you dare.

When: October 13-16 7PM to 10:30PM; October 20-23, 25-27 7PM to 11PM; October 28-31 6PM to 12AM

Martino Manor Haunted House

Fernando Martino presents “Martino Manor”, in the heart of Etobicoke! This haunt features an indoor haunted house and outdoor maze to spook your date right into your arms! Hungry after? Grab a bite at the legendary Mamma Martino’s right infront of the haunted house!

When: Thursday & Sunday 7pm – 11pm and Friday to Saturday 7pm – 12am

SCREEMERS

SCREEMERS is Toronto’s original and scariest haunted attraction, celebrating their 28th year. The event features seven haunted walk-through mazes featuring over 120 live actors. Make the date night even better by checking out the Midway of Madness, with unlimited rides, food trucks, and drinks in the licensed Vampire Lounge.

When: October 7 – 9, 13 – 16, 20 – 23, 26 – 31

Halloween Haunt

This fall, Halloween Haunt returns to Canada’s Wonderland with a sinister transformation, turning the theme park into a scream park filled with Halloween attractions that offer unforgettable thrills and unspeakable horror.

Immerse yourself in the nightmare of Haunt, a Halloween event where the streets are filled with terror, including hundreds of monsters, terrifying scare zones and mazes, ghoulish street performers, live music, thrilling night rides, and electrifying live shows.

When: Friday to Sundays until October 30

Halloween Adventure: Evict the Milton Ghost

Banish a murderous ghost, because why not? Life is short. Boost your quality time together with a Halloween adventure for your date night!

Teams compete in an outdoor adventure drive to banish a ghost. It’s an escape room, scavenger hunt, geocaching and amazing race all wrapped up in one great game. Visit the enchanted lake, witching forest, and haunted cemetery to build your supernatural mojo. Then drive to the hanging grounds in the Milton Town Hall to banish the ghost. A true spine tingling story.

Fear Forest

Something dark is lurking in the shadows of the woods. Immerse yourself in your very own horror film by heading deep into the forest on our trail with nothing more than a flashlight and your date.

You can also gear up for a game of Zombie Laser Tag, where you’ll have to survive the Apocalypse by collecting weapons and supplies.

Haunted Ghost Walks

Toronto is full of awesome ghost stories, haunted locations, and dark history. From spine-tingling ghost tours to heart-pounding paranormal investigations, join The Haunted Walk for a fun, spooky, and safe night out in the city.

You can explore the Ghosts of the Village at Black Creek, their Original Haunted Walk of Toronto, Campus Secrets and Spectres – University of Toronto Ghost Tour, Spirits of the Distillery District Ghost Tour, Alone in the Dark at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre, new this year Toronto’s Haunted Harbour, and even an at-home option!

Rebels or Prisoners: Escape the Cabin

Are you ready for this escape room? The year is 1837. The Upper Canada Rebellion has failed, and you and your rebel comrades are on the run from the local authorities. Remember – treason is a hanging crime these days. Thankfully, just as the militia are catching up, Mr. Smith offers you refuge in his cabin.  What seems like a blessing at first quickly turns into a nightmare – once inside the cabin, you notice with dread that you have been tricked and locked inside. You and your group must escape the cabin and regain your freedom before Mr. Smith returns with the militia, and you go from rebels to prisoners.  Good luck – your life may depend on it.

This 45 minute escape room can accommodate groups of up to 6 guests.

Legends of Horror

This October, the grounds of Casa Loma will once again be transformed into an immersive theatrical experience, Legends of Horror. Done in the presentational form considered “promenade theatre”, in which the audience walks at their own pace through a 2 km trail commencing in the lower gardens of Casa Loma and winding its way through the castles tunnels and darkest spaces never before open to the public.

Stop at the midway point to unwind with some snacks and a beverage before continuing on for this iconic Toronto fall date night.

When: Daily until October 31

Haunted Hollows Scream Park

Follow Haunted Hollows‘ twisted trails into the dark forest and come face to face with your deepest fears. Here, among the crooked and gnarled trees you’ll encounter horrifying clowns, ghouls, giant spiders, murderous inmates, ravenous cannibals, deranged mental patients, and demented doctors. How romantic, right?

Attractions include Asylum, The Butcher Shop, Chainsaw Alley, The Swamp, and more!

Snyder’s Fear Farm

Are you ready to turn your cute fall farm dates a little more haunted? Snyder’s world-famous Fear Farm features a not-to-be-missed hayride and six outdoor haunts to visit! The hayride has live horses pulling you through experiencing the action, actors, and atmosphere.

Other haunts include: Carnevil, The Stalking Dead, Hiller House, Hillbilly Hike, and The Visitors. You’ll just have to visit to find out what it all means.

If something sweet takes the fear away a little bit, their Farm Bakery has baked fresh and ready-to-take home goodies; from Whoopie Pies, to giant cinnamon buns, to the best brownie you’ve ever had.

Pickering Ghost Walk

Take a guided tour of the historic village at night and hear stories from the past that still haunt us today.  Learn about paranormal investigations that have found evidence of spirits and ghosts, and hear stories of past tragedies that actually took place in Pickering‘s past.
