Have your next lunch or dinner date with a seriously impressive view of the city at Stratus Restaurant. This spot is dubbed “The Restaurant Above”, for being on the 36th floor, on top of the iconic TD South Tower building, where the food is known to be even better than the view!
With the breathtaking Toronto cityscapes and their culinary menu by Executive Chef Martha Wright’s craft kitchen, Stratus Restaurant provides an unforgettable dining adventure that is as elevated as its location.

Food
From presentation down to the taste, the food was flawlessly delicious. Starting with the appetizers; the shrimps in the Shrimp Cocktail were jumbo and succulent, served with a bowl of their mildly spicy classic dipping sauce.
The Beet & Arugula Salad was also very fresh and topped with whipped lemon & chive ricotta, toasted walnuts, and a spiced cider vinaigrette that blended together in the perfect summer salad.
To accompany our meal, we sipped on stunning and fruity drinks including the Pretty in Pink cocktail made with Kettle One Vodka, St. Germain Liqueur, grapefruit juice, and lemon juice and the Young Buck mocktail with Seedlip Spice, blackberry syrup, lime juice, and Ginger Beer.
For the mains, the team at Stratus was helpful in recommending some amazing dishes. We opted for the Crisp Skinned BC Chinook Salmon which sat on a bed of assorted vegetables of braised savoy cabbage, roasted celery root, charred broccolini, topped with a Miso Beurre Blanc.
The Braised Beef Short Rib was incredibly tender and served with a roast root vegetable mash, heirloom carrots, brussel sprouts, and mushroom jús. Both of these dishes were also gluten-free!
Now, a date night meal isn’t complete without something sweet! For dessert, we ordered the Lemon Crème Brûlée with fresh fruit.
