Transcen|Dance Project’s Immersive Theatre Production ‘A Grimm Night’ Returns To Toronto

with even more interactive VIP experiences and a longer run, enjoy dark glamour at this date night.

A Grimm Night will welcome guests to The Great Hall in Toronto for more mystery and bigger-than-ever enchantment for its two-week run from March 31st to April 9th.

Transcen|Dance Project’s latest creation, A Grimm Night is an immersive theatre retelling inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairytales.

The absolutely genius show is directed and choreographed by Julia Cratchley, and the immersive part of this experience is what makes it especially unique.

In A Grimm Night, the audience is at the centre of the story from the moment they arrive and the evening is best described as dark glamour – you will receive a masquerade mask and be set free to roam all four floors of The Great Hall. The voyeuristic experience is definitely a different feeling of viewing art than you may be used to, but it’s worth stepping outside of the box.

The roaming show allows you to see multiple gorgeous rooms and sets that whisk you to another era, and world, entirely. From a dreamy fairy forest to the boudoir of a famous fairytale princess, to a romantic ballroom you’ll be in awe at the views throughout the venue.

This year, there will be several different experiences to enjoy at A Grimm Night:

Nightly VIP Tickets

Attend the show and have a date night like a VIP, these tickets allow you to by-pass the line, complimentary coat check, and a glass of bubbly when you arrive.

The Exclusive Friday & Saturday Experience

The Exclusive Experience is an intimate pre-show to A Grimm Night offering individual one-on-ones before the show begins to an intimate group, at least 30 minutes before the show start time.

This also includes line by-pass and a glass of bubbly when you arrive.

A Grimm Night – The Ball

Friday April 6, also available as VIP & The Exclusive Experience

Enjoy the full show of A Grimm Night followed by a DJ-lead dance party post-show with the cast until the clock strikes midnight (so nobody turns into a pumpkin, of course). Arrive early to enjoy the full pre-show experience of A Grimm Night.
