1. Inglewood Sunfest
August 4th from 11am-6pm

Bring your date to the heart of Inglewood on Saturday, August 4th for Inglewood Sunfest. With activities ranging from live music, street performers, summer patios, and over 200 vendors, there’s bound to be something for everyone. Vendors range from artisan crafts to imported wares, community organizations and more.


2. Chasing Summer 2018

August 4th-5th from 1pm-11pm

One of Calgary’s most popular summer music festivals takes place on August 4th and 5th. Slip on your best festival clothes and head over to Max Bell Centre with your crew to dance to music from big name artists like headliners Martin Garrix (Saturday) and DJ Snake (Sunday). Other performances include artists like Kaskade, Bro Safari, Tigerlily and Kris Kaiden.


3. Dinner En’ Dogge

Show off your love for your pup at the first annual Dinner En’ Dogge event. This incredible evening will include a sit down catered dinner for you and your four-legged BFF. 4. Heritage Day at Fort Calgary

Celebrate Heritage Day at one of Calgary’s most historic sites. Bring the family to Fort Calgary to enjoy some fun activities including a family-friendly movie with free popcorn, a NWMP Commemorative Band, free museum tours, educational talks, Mountie uniform try-on sessions and so much more. Admission is free for this event.

5. Heritage Day at Heritage Park
August 6th from 10am-5pm
Heritage Park Historical Village, 1900 Heritage Dr SW

Bring the family down to Heritage Park this Heritage Day for an interactive day full of history and fun. Costume interpreters will be bringing history to life in the homes, shops and streets of Heritage Park. Stroll through the exhibits, take a ride on the antique midway and tour the park on an authentic steam train. There will be old-fashioned games like three-legged races and potato sack races for the family to enjoy as well as a welcoming of new Canadians and a march with the Mounties. Dress up in your traditional cultural clothing in celebration of your family’s heritage.

BONUS: Go Floating Down the Bow River with Bae
