The Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) has announced its highly anticipated 2023-2024 season, featuring a wide variety of musical experiences across genres that reflect Toronto’s diverse communities. Crafted by Music Director Gustavo Gimeno, the Masterworks Series will kick off on September 20 and 21, with Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring and we want to send you to Roy Thomson Hall (60 Simcoe Street) for a fancy date night!

About the Show
The Toronto Symphony Orchestra kicks off their 101st season with a musical mosaic, highlighted by the multi-faceted Jean-Yves Thibaudet’s electrifying take on Gershwin’s jazz-influenced Piano Concerto in F. The performance opens with Lili Boulanger’s vibrant and delicate tone poem D’un matin de printemps, countering the controversial score of Stravinsky’s wildly hypnotic and primal The Rite of Spring.
The program includes Gustavo Gimeno as the conductor, and Jean-Yves Thibaudet on piano.
This performance is on Wednesday September 20th and Thursday September 21st only!
